In de huidige beta van de xforms engine zijn er twee renderdevices: xhtml en html5. Nadeel hiervan is dat je geen controle hebt over de output van de html: dat wordt bepaald door het renderdevice.
Wat mooi zou zijn is een derde renderdevice toe te voegen: het xslt renderdevice. Bij gebruik hiervan kan je dan een xslt configureren die de xforms data transformeert naar de gewenste html (of iets anders, kan natuurlijk ook). Op die manier heb je volle controle over de output.
Mooiste is natuurlijk als er standaard al een xslt wordt meegeleverd die dezelfde output genereerd als de bestaande twee renderdevices. ;)
